I'm not sure if models with Graphics cards will give you battery life over 2+ hours. But if you need more backup you could always carry a spare battery with you.

If your Ok with carrying around 2 devices that would be a good choice.

If it is for gaming also then you should look for one with a GPU (would decrease battery life and increase heat generation though).

You could also consider the Nexus One from ebay under 30K (unless you are not comfortable getting it from there).

I actually only want to see the phone (or at least a dummy one). But frustratingly haven't been able to do so anywhere as yet. BTW I think the price for the desire (official one) should drop soon (as I don't think the sales for these so far are as high as expected).

I just cant seem to find this phone anywhere in Bangalore. Tried in a couple of shops (Croma, Sangeetha, The mobile store and a few others) and all of these said it would take a few more days to arrive. :(

I believe the Intel HD Graphics is capable of playing 1080p videos (but suggest you google around to verify this though).
