Yes. He's going somewhere after 20th. So there will be a hold. :)

    Post your overclocks !

Yes, AVX can make CPUs fart within an hour or two and is extremely brutal, especially AVX512 small FFTs (unrealistic PC scenario). I recommend using prime only on newly bought CPU running at stock to test out newly bought rig as a burn in test. OC profiles shouldn't be tested on Prime...

    Post your overclocks !

Yes. Cores that are being downclocked are the ones throwing errors as they fail to deliver payload. This is mainly due to thermals which effects few cores more than others due to chip design and proximity to dispense heat.

Essentially yes. But same panels with using the same stock firmware will correspond better with a calibrated profile. That's why each manufacturer has a custom ICC for every model. Hardware Unboxed has a huge collection of profiles which they offer to their patreon members.

I can share custom calibrated ICC profile which Tim from HU sent me. Do you want it?

Did you install a calibrated color profile as well? It will greatly improve it. :)

    Post your overclocks !

Noice. Did you run a stress test as well? I did the same with my Quad channel kit but it was unstable in some scenarios. Then it worked even better at 2666 MHz with tighter timings at 1.36V.

Exactly. Great monitor but unjustified price point. Drop it to like 35K and it's an insta buy.

    31-40k 27 inch 1440p 144hz+ IPS Monitor Suggestions

I personally believe 4K needs to be either widescreen or at least 32"inch. Now few months back, before settling for 1440p, I easily had the budget to upgrade PC on 4K resolution but the problem is supporting hardware and upgrades that it would require to maintain 4K future gaming would've been...

HDR is meaningless for these monitors as they're HDR 400 nits, except some movie content that is in HDR format. HDR1000 is where you would say the magic starts, not even HDR600. This is one place where VA monitors shine with their 3000:1 contrast ratio. So, you wouldn't be missing much.

    31-40k 27 inch 1440p 144hz+ IPS Monitor Suggestions

Yes. But thr bigger issue is right now screen size. Top IPS monitors are already 50K+. And if someone is buying that then he would rather pay more to get OLED for that size because IPS don't stand a chance against OLEDs. But no one seems to be venturing into this right now.

Wait is worth it if it's not too much. Only buy GL850 if around 33-35K. Otherwise go for newer model. I have a feeling once OLED makes an entry on 27-32" inch models, LCD monitors would be history. OLED are the future that will either end the IPS/VA market or make it really more affordable like...

    31-40k 27 inch 1440p 144hz+ IPS Monitor Suggestions

I shot a mail to LG India and USA to know when we will see the release of new monitors 27GP850 or 27GP83B-B. I think they should be launched in May, 2021. But with the COVID BS you can't be sure of anything anymore. 1) 144Hz is more than enough. After that frame time latency is not that...

Yes MSI ones need to be calibrated, out of the box MAG274QRF-QD comes oversaturated and while calibrating it not that difficult it does require an expensive colorimeter like SpyderPro. Still one can ballpark the calibration using a photo grade image printout from a photographer's workshop and...

This has something to do with FDI policy. Gigabyte and all other AIBs have to provide service through some indian company. Some are quick to resolve RMA, while some are assholes. It seems Gigabyte jumped the boat now and are more focused on marketing than actual service. I think the most...
