Linux Karaoke with YouTube on desktop.

I've got a computer running Debian connected to 2 monitors and a TV. I'd like to use it for karaoke, singing along with YouTube lyric videos. For sound output I've got the motherboards ports, a bluetooth headset and my Nvidia 4060's HDMi. I'd like to have the microphone connected via the...

Other DIY mobile phone screen replacement.

I've got 2 Mi A2 phones, which are running Calyx OS, and I love them. They're both about 3-4 years old and are serving all my mobile computing needs. But I dropped one of the phones about 3 years ago, and damaged the screen in the bottom left corner. It was still working perfectly, with a...

To the TV. I don't have a Firestick connected.

What is the best way to watch tv without disturbing others ?

I prefer using a bluetooth headset while watching TV, even if there's no one else around. Not only does it help in not disturbing others, but the dialogue and sound effects are much clearer, and I can turn subtitles off. My older bluetooth headset had a problem with audio sync, but none of the...

Can I use an AM3+ stock cooler on AM4

My CPU was hitting 95 degrees when under load with the stock cooler. I decided to install the Cooler Master Hyper Tx3 and put in a total of 5 case fans. I installed the case fans first - I had 2 120mm ones already, and the computer was dead silent and reasonably cool. I installed 3 more, and...

How much impact on the audio quality does the player have versus the speaker/headphone?

I'd go for better speakers. You can always tweak the equaliser settings on your phone or computer to get a sound you like, but your speakers you can't really tune. Also, your speakers will last longer than your motherboard. And, about not being able to tell the difference - once you get used to...

    Dishwasher suggestion

I have a Toshiba, and use the intensive wash - 2Hrs55mins@70 degrees. But thats because our washer takes 4-5 days to fill up. If you're doing a load daily the auto setting, or even eco should work. You'll figure out what works best for you after a few washes.

Help regarding hosting and creating static website

You can also use Github/Gitlab pages to host your static site for free. It's a bit complicated, but it's better than most shared hosting plans IMO. You can use any template you want to create the site. https://pages.github.com/ https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/project/pages/

    Dishwasher suggestion

Do post a small review once you use it. You got a great deal, but I'm pretty sure it's a good machine regardless of how much, or how little you paid for it. I love your NCEMI trick, I've been guilty of using it on a few occasions too. BTW, I'm using Fortune detergent, salt and rinse aid. Works...

    Dishwasher suggestion

I've been using a Toshiba dishwasher for the last 3 years, and it's been doing an awesome job. We're a family of 2, using a 14 place dishwasher, so it takes us about 4 days to fill a load, and by then all the residue on the plates has hardened. But, after a hot wash (70 degrees Celsius) - which...

    buying domain

I've used mitsu.in in the past, and have had no issues with them. If I still had domains there, I wouldn't transfer them out based on one persons bad experience, because, as you know negative opinions get amplified on the internet, and good experiences go mostly unreported.

51-70k PC more than good enough for most use cases like editing, moderate gaming, programing

I'm not sure if putting an AVR before the UPS is a good idea. Anyway, most UPS's handle input voltages between 140 — 300v. Your's has a much lower range, which could be the problem. How long have you been using it? Because if the problem was the voltage it should have showed up before.

[PSA] BEWARE : STOLEN Goods selling on facebook and watsapp groups.

FWIW - I think these scams are more prevalent in certain geographies, and are probably run by the last mile delivery people.

51-70k PC more than good enough for most use cases like editing, moderate gaming, programing

First see if the problem is with the UPS. While it sounds like a dying battery, you can run a couple of checks to be sure. Turn on your PC, enter the BIOs and then turn off the UPS plug. If it turns off immediately, then your battery's probably dead, and you can change it for about Rs.1000. If...

51-70k PC more than good enough for most use cases like editing, moderate gaming, programing

https://landing.coolermaster.com/faq/how-to-connect-a-3-pin-or-4-pin-fan-to-the-motherboard/ Refer to that for how to plug in the fans. Don't plug in the case fans initially. First let your system boot up and check that every component is working. It's good that you have that fan connector. You...

51-70k PC more than good enough for most use cases like editing, moderate gaming, programing

The fans will light up - I think - but you won't be able to control the lights through the motherboard. And you also probably won't be able to control the fan speed - not necessary as long as they aren't too noisy. You can get your CPU fan, and 2 case fans working without buying anything more...

51-70k PC more than good enough for most use cases like editing, moderate gaming, programing

3 pin fans will fit into a 4 pin socket only they may not be pwm controlled. The fans in your case are CF120 ARGB - according to the CM website - and they use a 5v 3 pin ARGB connector. Your motherboard supports 12v argb strips, so it's not compatible with your case fans RGB, but you can use...
