Needs opinions for Creality Ender 3 V2 Neo on Deal

My printer came this afternoon - after being out for delivery for the last 3 days. I'd almost given up hope of getting it, and then the doorbell rang, and there was the Amazon guy with a big box for me. I finished setting up the printer, and it's now printing the boat that came on the SD card...

51-70k PC more than good enough for most use cases like editing, moderate gaming, programing

Does the card look new and unused? What's the date of import? Has the CPU fan been used? It's an old model, so maybe it was just old stock that was getting cleared. What's the import date on the CPU box? My older CPU, an AMD FX 8350 came in a tattered box, but the CPU was unused, and the...

51-70k PC more than good enough for most use cases like editing, moderate gaming, programing

If you haven't yet ordered the motherboard, then try and get one with some heatsinks on the vrm's. If you've already ordered it, then stick with the stock cooler, or get something low profile which'll blow air on the vrm's and help keep them cool.

31-40k Need help selecting a CPU, Motherboard, RAM, SSD and PSU.

I know. It's ancient, and looks it. I bought it only because all the new cases have the drives stored all over the case, and my PSU has just 1 wire with 3 SATA power cables placed very close to each other. I know that it'll work with the hard drive caddy on the Corsair, and for the other cases...

31-40k Need help selecting a CPU, Motherboard, RAM, SSD and PSU.

Good find! Too bad for me, as I already picked up the AMD 5500GT @ Rs.9139 from Flipkart. In fact I just received the WD sn770 1TB drive an hour ago. I just installed Debian on it, and am writing this message from my new system.

31-40k Need help selecting a CPU, Motherboard, RAM, SSD and PSU.

I was changing computer cabinets yesterday, and the back plate of the cabinet deformed a bit while removing the motherboard, because the standoffs were stuck, and now the motherboard doesn't line up perfectly with the cabinet slots. So, I need a new cabinet and am buying - Corsair Carbide...

    Amazon India lightning deals

Not a lightning deal, but a good one none the less. During the last Amazon sale I saw a 3D printer for less than Rs.9000 - a Yuva printer from WOL3D, but by the time I decided to buy it, it's price had shot up to Rs.25,000. The WOL3D New Creality Ender 3 V2 Neo 3D Printer is at Rs.9558 now...

31-40k Need help selecting a CPU, Motherboard, RAM, SSD and PSU.

The GPU was delivered this evening. It was imported in July. I registered both the motherboard and GPU with Gigabyte. The m/b has a 3 year warranty, and the graphic card has 4 years. The card is long and covers 2 SATA ports, but they're usable if I use right angle cables. The card with the PCIe...

31-40k Need help selecting a CPU, Motherboard, RAM, SSD and PSU.

Thanks. I'm looking forward to setting things up this weekend, but for that Flipkart needs to deliver the M2 drive earlier than the 1st of October that they've promised. I ordered the a WD Black 1TB SN770 for Rs.4989 from Flipkart, using card discounts. For the GPU, I was considering getting a...

Storage Solutions SATA SSD - is BX500 good enough ?

I have one, and I'm using it mainly for games, and as a backup drive for photos. It's been running smoothly for the last 2 years. Good enough depends on your expectations. For me, it's fast enough, and I think it'll last at a long time, but who can say for sure.

31-40k Need help selecting a CPU, Motherboard, RAM, SSD and PSU.

?? I don't understand! Is that sarcasm? Anyway - The CPU, M/b, RAM, and PSU have arrived. I'm currently replying from the new system, using a Live Debian USB stick. Everything seems to be working fine. I'll wait till I get the M2 drive, and the GPU before I install the system. Checked the...

    Flipkart deals

You'll need to scrape the walls first. Removing paint by sanding is fine for small areas, but for a wall it's too much work. And you'll just run through sandpaper. I have a sander, and used it to sand furniture, and that was very time consuming. For me it worked best to even out paint layers...

31-40k Need help selecting a CPU, Motherboard, RAM, SSD and PSU.

If I was still in Mumbai, I would have walked down to Lamington Road, and picked up all the parts. There was an AMD processor dealer - back when no one wanted an AMD - on the first floor somewhere - who used to give me good deals, and great after sales service. Sadly, in Pune, traveling to local...

Can I use an AM3+ stock cooler on AM4

Thanks! That's good to hear. I've got 2 AM3+ coolers that should be able to dissipate , the stock AMD one and a Cooler Master Hyper Tx3 (not EVO). Both of them use clips. I'll see what temps and noise levels are with the Wraith Stealth, and if they're high, I'll try swapping them with the AM3...

Can I use an AM3+ stock cooler on AM4

I'm getting a AMD 5500GT AM4 -65 watt processor and a Gigabyte B450 DS3H M/b. I have the stock heat sink of my 125 watt AMD 8350 processor. It has a copper core, and heat pipes, and looks much more powerful that the wraith stealth that comes with the 5500GT. I was thinking of using that instead...

31-40k Need help selecting a CPU, Motherboard, RAM, SSD and PSU.

Will do...don't know how though. The PSU should be fine, Corsairs supposed to be great. I'll pick up the G.Skill RAMs as they have come down in price, so they should be okay too. The WD SSD should be fine too. The only thing that's iffy is the Gigabyte motherboard.
