no crahes .. low frames is the prob .... more important is the fps stability .. in burrnout paradise the fps dips down to 49 from 60 fps at some points in road rage.... burnout paradise is very stable fps wise right... ?

this test was before i put the RAM in another slot... now i dont get errors.. i ran furmark for 10 minutes and OCCT test for 15 minutes.... the fps was stable... and temperature reached to 72 12v ripple

now its ok i successfully installed 9.12 drivers i set the BIOS to load optimal defaults .. and the RAM speed remained same 6-6-6-18-24 .. no change in perfomance ..

how do i install updates for xp without running automatic update because my version is non genuine....

i dint observe any change .. same stutters/.. i just installed 9.12 and it installed fine.... checked out the games no change .. :)

well my OS is windows xp sp2 ... (non genuine) not updated... can this also be a culprit for low fps?? and i cant arrange for a test PSU . by the way the CARD is clocked at 640/ 993 .... underclocking my GPU can help .. is it risky??

i ran occt on my system ... 30 minutes.. bought my whole system last month... the system restarts with no prompt. when the ati installer starts installing.. i had ran memtest on my RAM before it gave me 172 errors... then i switched the slot of the RAM .. and then ran memtest...

the problem is when i try to install 9.11 drivers the installer crashes.. so for the sake of seeing chge in perfomance i put 9.8 drivers.. the resolutiuon is 1440 x 900 lol .. 1440 x 900 is the resolution.. 1440 x 900 i already have hw monitor and the temperatures peak at 63 C

my system is AMD phenom ii x2 550 be 3.1 ghz ati hd 4850 huntkey 550 w PSU 2 gb kingston RAM seagate 500 gb win xp sp2 i get a 3dmark score of 11183 in 3dmark 06 the problem is in games like Crysis warhead, Farcry 2 , Gta 4 i get very low fps with frequent stutters... crysis...
