Offline maps are accurate but don't offer as many POis as say Google maps. Sygic maps at 300 bucks offers much better bang for buck. Sygic makes the maps for Map my India which many consider the best for India.

I hope it brings better performance as the phone was laggy as hell and even a simple game like Temple Run 2 was very laggy. Given the decent specs and low screen resolution it must be the software that is causing this.
