No Xperia device comes with unlocked bootloader and will not. AOSP update will be available only to those who unlock their bootloaders. @comp@ddict Sources. Wasn't I right about the September 29 ICS release date ? :) @sam9953 Does your TV have DLNA ? Only then it will work.

No it doesn't. And I'd suggest keeping it on as it improves the video/picture quality and also it doesn't have much of an impact on battery life anyway.

Yes that's the latest ICS build for India, @sam9953 . You can still use your phone though without sim card. Explore the phone until you get the micro Sim cutter kit. Also change your camera settings from SCNAuto to Normal. Then change focus mode from smile detection to multi auto focus and...

    Sony Xperia S/P/U/Sola/GO Thread

LOL yes you can remove that. There is no need for any screenguard. In some countries you get an extra screenguard in addition to the factory installed one, whereas in India we get only 1 which is factory fitted. As for the micro-sim it hardly costs 200 bucks to buy that kit, so don't think much.

    Sony Xperia S/P/U/Sola/GO Thread
