Yes using 41 for last 15 hours.. Better ram management and as of now no heating issue.

Just updated to v41 offered OTA, will update this thread if there's any performance improvement Edit- the update has improved RAM management, I have been using Flipkart eBook reader, Facebook, magic bricks, browser, Te app for last one hour.. Free RAM is still 350 MB.

I guess its late, but why was Moto E not considered? I would prefer better build quality and QC over software updates.

The primary issue with this phone is Memory leak, the free RAM reduces every hour and at the end of day apps start crashing. I had configured back key LONG press to kill APP, still memory leak after a day.

Camera is good, but starts lagging and heat issues after few minutes of using the camera.

I am returning this to flipkart, the RAM management issue is a deal breaker for me. (apps slow down and crash, even the Phone app) There are too many users on MIUI forums complaining about this and even developers acknowledging this with replies to wait for a new update.

Guys we are mixing up CPU temperature and battery temperature.

Tell them you cannot use this phone with exchange corporate mail, fails at encryption stage. It's a known bug at one of the top 10 issues with this phone.

That would still work for WhatsApp, if the phone works fine

We have issues with weird sellers from eBay, shopclues, snapdeal. It's nothing different from offline sellers. But I have had some better deals from offline Croma in comparison to a small retailer, so should we shut them down as well??

I enabled long press back button to kill apps, even after killing every app I launched through out the day free ram is 150 MB. The music playback was smooth today.

Other way of looking at it is they will cut the multiple middle men offer better rates till we have competition in ecom.

I hated android because of the optimizations you have to do, and MIUI sucks for Redmi 1s. phone heated up to 52 degrees with 10 min of Google play newsstand when the 3G network was weak. Works fine on Wi fi. have used music player for about 4 hours in 3 days and the player just stops playing...

Same here.. Keyboard issue appeared multiple times in browser. No heating issues here
