    Windows 8 does not accept passwords longer than 16 characters. If your password is longer than 16 characters, enter just the first 16 characters of your password and it should be fine. This is ridiculous though. I think this might be your problem.

    Yeah, I deleted all the HDA before running Multibeast and did just what you mentioned. Still it didn't work. Then, I deleted the AppleHDA.kext file again, and installed AppleHDA.kext which I downloaded from somewhere which I don't remember. Rebooted, and voila it did work ! Yipee Now...
