    Yea, price reduction does not look likely. At least I do not know of any phones that have launched at same or near US pricing. Here Moto and FK just did the same and if you include the launch day offers, it turned out actually cheaper than the US pricing. :)

    Dont use scissors. Get it cut at mobile shops. Yes they use SIM cutters, else get one cutter for urself

    As far as I know package in US doesnt have any earphone. The Global version which I bought came with just the USB cable. No charger, no handsfree/earphones.

    Call quality is pretty good. I have been using it for close to 1.5 months and I never found the sound to be muffled or anything. It is very clear.

    Yea, for sure not 5000. FK might have kept limited numbers as they have to extend the launch day offers to the buyers too, so I m sure they kept it in limited numbers. I wont be surprized if it comes back in stock a in a day or two.
