Good buy! Is that the 45/1.8? I was dithering between this and the Panny G5. Ended up getting the bigger G5 for it's built in viewfinder (plus the kit+14-150 deal I got for 498/-) My first serious camera :) I might still grab a EPM2 body if I can find a good deal in the near future.

Did you note my disclaimer? :) I 'work-out' at 'work' . (additionally, I am based in the US, so it might just be that. I did not know that heavy lifting equipment was this hard to find. Yes, it does have safeties. Have already used them couple of times. Currently squatting 240 lbs (Which is...

Disclaimer, I have no idea how gyms outside are :) I workout in my office gym and it has a Smith machine that I use as a rack + olympic bars + all the weights that I'll ever need for a couple of lifetimes :D PS - I don't 'use' the Smith machine itself. We don't have a separate squat rack, so...

    The Fitness Thread !

Like I said earlier in this thread, even something as simple as 0.75-1.00 liter of milk a day has been enough for me to gain around 10kgs (over 4 months, mostly muscle). YMMV @GODMODE09 GOMAD is a proven + well researched strategy. @Party Monger A simple set of dumbbells will not be super...

On that note, Milk is also brilliant for piling on the calories. I've added 12.5kgs in the 4 months since I've started working out regularly and drinking milk (hadn't touched it in over a decade) I didn't even have to GOMAD (though that might have quickened things up a bit). I drink about a...

Linux Parallella: A Supercomputer For Everyone

They have a C compiler they ship with it. Remains to be seen how well it works in the real world. More than the hardware, it's the principles behind parallel programming that have been a b**ch. Someone needs to create a truly auto-parallelizing compiler for that.

    Mobile computing options: Opinions?

I agree that a phone is a very bad solution for general browsing. The most I can bring myself to do on my phone is check my GoogleReader (RIP) feed & email/scores. I always go back to my desktop for general Facebook/TE/redditting. Also, I'm not sure if getting an Ainol is such a good idea...
