    Bent CPU Socket Pins

HI all, I recently found out that my motherboard has some bent CPU socket pin on it. The CPU is not being detected, but the motherboard lights do turn on. Is there any way to fix it and does any have experience in doing so? The motherboard is out of warranty and EoL, so there's no point in...

10-15K Mobile Phone for kid, Studying and Youtuber (budget around 12K for 12 years old)

Unpopular opinion, but try and get your kid a used/refurbished iPhone. It will be a bit expensive but will last him a long while and probably be a good companion if you get him an iPad/MacBook for further studies. The iPhones just work and lasts a long while. Another benefit is the easy to use...

    21-30k Shift from 2700 to 5600X?

Well, it has been shown that having more frames than your monitor can output may help with input lag, but that's a topic for some other day. But yeah, gaming is just one scenario. Unless it's purely gaming PC, I don't see a reason to step up from 2700 to 5600x, not in this scenario at least.

    Suggestion regarding Mechanical keyboard

Keys and build qualities are one thing, but liking a keyboard is very subjective. Even if you like one now, chances are you'll get bored with it even before the keyboard dies on you. So if budget allows, at lease go with one which has removable key switches to spice up the things when required.

Just a suggestion, when going for a thin and light laptops, try to get one with USB-C charging. There's always a bit of paranoia when it comes to laptop and batteries, and USB-C's are such a convenient way to charge all your peripherals from a single charger. Yeah, most options are expensive...

On a serious note, if you are looking to play at 144Hz+, you ought to make sacrifice with qualities. That said, having an option to choose between them is a way better than not having any of them.

    Credit card discussions

I think the most points per reward is usually given by companies which have their own points system. Like Amex have their own, so does Standard Chartered. In the least, they feel like they give more points per rupee spent compared to something like payback, icici reward or intermiles IMO. I...

Which heat sink compound to buy?

You can get multiple types of Isopropyl Alcohol over the counter, ranging from 40%-99.9% ones. The 'medical grade' ones are usually 70% alcohol that might be a reason. But usually they have labels indicating the alcohol content.
