I would take the Gigabyte X79 combo. I would stick with a Corsair PSU only because of their excellent RMA service compared to others. Asrock boards maybe good but as we talked earlier, you only told me who imports them so in case of some issues with the board, how quick is the RMA going to be...

How is that a problem ? It is a common thing that Motherboard manufacturers use cheaper audio codecs in value boards and better ones in the more expensive models. That's why we see that the Maximus V Geve has that Supreme FX thing and not a realtek codec.

If I am not mistaken, the Pro has 12 phase power compared to 8 in the non Pro. Apart from that almost everything looks same.

I would say save for some time and buy a good newer gen board.

Alright, ended the dilemma finally. Ordered Asus P8Z77 - V Pro for 16,500/- Should get it tomorrow, hopefully. Keeping fingers crossed. :)

A bit of reading convinced me that this is a good drive for a nice price. Based on Sandforce SF-2281 processor and Intel highly binned chips, this looks like a good combo. For 10k I am not complaining. Will hook it up soon and post some scores. As for the handle, blame it on the password reset...

Thanks for the inputs bikey. Picked up Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3 for time being. Will use it with the 2320. Plan is to wait for a Full ATX ROG Z77 board to launch. Once that happens, will pick it along with 3770K or if Intel launches a better bin chip that time.
