My suggestions would be : 1. Comodo Firewall, simply the best but not so user friendly. Can be irritated sometimes due to its frequent pop-ups. 2. Outpost Firewall, not a par-to-par product here in comparable to Comodo but defiantly a best bet for some non geek, non administrator type person...
