Just upgraded the FW to the latest Linksys one - 4.30.12 BTW, in my earlier netgear router I could specify what IP Addresses would be assigned by DHCP to certain computers based on the MAC Address. i.e., say 192.168.0.2 should always be allotted to my Home PC and say 192.168.0.3 to my Netbook...

I got it for Rs. 21,250/- Currently posting this post via the Samsung N110 over a Wifi G network :P I just installed a Linksys WRT54GL Router and am using the Samsung Netbook to connect over Wifi G. The setup in the Sammy took less than a minute.

Any advantages in doing that? I mean changing from Router mode to Bridge mode? Coz, it has been working flawlessly with my earlier Netgear Wired Router RP614v2 for around 1.5 - 2 years.
