    Graphic Cards 7900Gt for $240 or 1900XT FOR $355

Once DX10 comes along it won't be optional. And the mid-range DX10 parts will almost certainly outperform the current high-end parts.Ths has always been the case.So the X1900XT while seeming all attractive now will soon be a $300 antique.Won't order anything till I get my ram back anyway.And...

    Graphic Cards 7900Gt for $240 or 1900XT FOR $355

^^Dude I have had the X1800XT and am not gonna buy the same card again, kaputboy! And I have not yet ordered anything so my options are still open, the card on buy.com was sold-out today, which was to be expected.I am currently thinking of junking the idea of getting a high-end and getting an...

    Graphic Cards 7900Gt for $240 or 1900XT FOR $355

I think my mind is almost made up.....the 7900GT is best..lower power and heat...50% cheaper for a 10-20% performance difference...'purer' technology(hehe....)No matter how good the X1900XT is, its still ATi and thats a -ve in my book.Gonna smoke some and make sure I don't change my mind....rofl...

    Graphic Cards 7900Gt for $240 or 1900XT FOR $355

^^Agreed that the X1900T is a cool deal no doubt but simple math still guides me to the 7900GT :the cheapest 7900GT incl MIR is $215 and the X1900XT is $330 ,including shiping and MIR for both; the 7900GT will most likely do 500/1500 and is it worth it to pay a 53% premium for the x1900xt?And as...

    Graphic Cards 7900Gt for $240 or 1900XT FOR $355

OMG! The Sapphire X1900XT is down to 326 after a 30 buck rebate! Why are they so adamant that I return their 300 and then some more...?LOL And the 'fixed' eVGA 7900GT is down to $230 after a $25 rebate.Tough choice here.I know the 1900XT is faster but I somehow do not like ATi's drivers, my...

    Graphic Cards 7900Gt for $240 or 1900XT FOR $355

Okay newegg didn't have 'oem' Sapphire 1800xts so I get a refund of $300.;) So I can either buy the Connect 3D 1900XT for $355 or 7900Gt from MSI for $239.Has anyone kept track of the 7900 issues and if they have been resolved?I think VFM wise both are evenly matched. Opinions wanted.

CPU/Mobo Should I pump 3.3v to the DDR?

Well if things don't work out with new ram, will call up GSKill , ask them if they can resolve the situation or else give them a piece of my mind and order a pair of those delicious OCZ titaniums from the egg.

CPU/Mobo Should I pump 3.3v to the DDR?

My PC came with 2 X512MB CE-5 originally so I know how good they are.But some of these 2GBNS parts are good too-reaching 235-240 on stock voltage and timings. My bad luck that the one I got wouldn't work even at 200 mhz at 1T.And this Tforce sucker won't boot above 251mhz(I am thinking this is...

CPU/Mobo Should I pump 3.3v to the DDR?

^^ Was trying to be a miser-may be went too far at that!Saving 15 bucks is gonna cost me more if the sticks that arrive this time are bad too.Basically my thinking was 400-440 at 2.5-3-3-6,1T is good enough and I could use dividers to overclock as A64 shows little benefit from high mem speeds...

CPU/Mobo motherboard choice for AMD 939 platform?

By running 2T u lose a lot in benchmarks and about 3-10% in real world apps. Its better to run at 200 2.5-3-3-7 1T than at 250 3-4-4-8 2T.

CPU/Mobo Should I pump 3.3v to the DDR?

Well thats why I didn't RMA the board for refund yet. However when I disabled VPU recover the screen simply froze, may be its all coz of the crappy ram but hey better to get 'em both replaced while I am at it right? I did re-install windows but due to the enormous amount of data in my hdd, a...

CPU/Mobo Should I pump 3.3v to the DDR?

Obtained the RMA number from newegg, now I am facing a new problem, the 1800XT gives me 'lost focus' and/or VPU recover error.I think I should RMA that too, just in case.Hell...I think the best course right now would be to RMA the card and ram, send the board for a refund and get a new DFI ultra...

CPU/Mobo Should I pump 3.3v to the DDR?

Tried it didn't help one bit. Will prolly RMA the RAM soon.Seems the NS series has chips that fail to meet the GX and HX requirements and can be Samsung,Infineon or even Hynix. So its a lucky draw as to which u get.The chips are relabelled so u can't really find out but I'm guessing I ended up...

CPU/Mobo Should I pump 3.3v to the DDR?

I think I will try the 3.3V setting; it might work; if not I'll have to RMA the ram sooner or later.
