Looky what arrived in the mail today....

Congrats, I'm green with envy! Among the currently produced headphones a lot of people rate this as almost as highly as the SR009. Don't worry about the amp for now, it looks like you got a great deal on the headphones. Like Santosh said everything else is a small step up, although it is often...

Thanks! Got a mail from Piotr about 3 hours ago. According to him it shouldn't happen straight from the AK or either of the phones. It doesn't bother me too much once there's music playing though, just wanted to know if other people hear it. Here's another user who mentioned hiss as well -...

Tried it with the AK100, ALO International, iPhone 4 and Galaxy S4. Hiss with all of them.

Do you notice a fairly large amount of hiss? Tried it with quite a few sources and it shows up on all of them, quite sensitive.

The Music Two? If its them you're talking about, then no. A friend suggested trying it out, he been talking to other people about them and heard the Music One was a very capable single driver ciem. They have a dealer in SG now, I ordered mine about 3 or 4 days before they announced the tie up. I...

Haha that's true. My version of the HD25 was a bit different though, slightly harder to drive. It was the HD25-II-13 which is the 600ohm version of the HD25-II. I think the discount is over. Although mailing them is a good option, great customer support

Haven't tried the RE-600. But the impressions/reviews sing its praises. I'm a bit of a hifiman fanboy to be honest, all my opinions of their products will never be trustworthy :p Piotr wanted to redo my Music 2s, he wasn't satisfied with the shell on the first build. Think it shipped out 2 days...

@kenpachiroks - Those RE-272s look great! Congrats. I loved all the Hifiman IEMs that I managed to try. I was an unlucky owner though and had all of them fail on me, wasn't just cable issues, the drivers themselves would cease to work. As for your earlier question about the Noble ciems. I did...

Thanks! Haven't heard any of the Lear models. I do know that Treeo over in SG carries their stuff. http://store.treoo.com/ Peter's Harmony is on hold for now, last I heard he ran into issues after finalising his design based on the manufacturer's pre-release versions . The driver...

Was very interested in the TE-05, but I can't afford to spend more cash on stuff I don't really need. Seems like ibuygou sells the real Pistons. http://www.head-fi.org/t/586909/the-discovery-thread-new-zero-audio-doppios-pg1197-kef-m200-pg835-philips-fidelio-s2-pg-724/21915#post_10272230

So I did some auditioning when I was Singapore and I was torn between the JH13 and the Miracle in the end. I wanted to try the UERM but I believe there's no dealer in Singapore at the moment. In the end I decided to get the Miracle (used) and have it reshelled by Custom Art. Was hoping for...

Thanks a lot! Plenty of information there. The M2s are quite a bit longer than your C4s. The finish in the pictures looks quite good, what really had me drooling were some of his "state of the art" designs. Looks like my Music Two will be a bit delayed. The shells didn't meet Piotr's quality...

 EDIT: Quick impressions please! My pair arrive this week, but I leave for India tomorrow and wont be back till the 18th. My reason for buying the M2 is the same as yours, will either ask Piotr to re-tune a miracle and reshell it silicone or perhaps get the 4C for my neutral fix. Tried...

looking for a good set of iems and headphones for electronic music

I don't listen to any electronic music but maybe some thing like the HD600 / Ultrasone 900 Pro / TH600 would work well. The TH600 is extra special when compared to the other two, well worth looking at at even at its current retail price of 800 USD. IEMs the ER4P / FX700 / RE400 or 600 / EPH 100

This is so messed up. Lets hope they put new orders on hold and try to get builds rushed for customers who had to sit through all this.

TRRS balanced? I think all the Hifiman players have the same thing. Also, try finding a video of the player in use, the UI on some of these players can driver you nuts! Doesn't Fiio X3's DAC make it a better option? Sell the R3 and buy a RE-400 if you need to :)

The new HE560 interests me greatly! Looks a bit odd with the really ugly headband. It's expensive, but if it doesn't need an amp that's equally expensive and if it's anything like the HE4 or HE6 sound wise then ........I'll wait for someone to sell his/her pair and snap it up :D can't afford a...

    Noise Cancelling Headphones with Bluetooth?

The Parrot Zik are good sounding headphones given the fact that they're wireless, as far as I can remember they have the bluetooth functionality and active noise cancellation. Quite expensive though.

It's like Santosh said, I cant seem to find a good seal with most tips. This is more of a concern than minor changes in sound. Comply tips work well since they expand to fill up the space in your ears but they're hard to keep clean, and changing them once every two weeks or so is quite...
