Fischer Audio FA-011. Great for music. Open so much more airy than the M50 making it better for gaming and movies. The M50 is a good can at about 5000, anything more and I'd pass on them.

Picked up an AK100 and the Heir Audio Tzar 350 recently. Owned a clip+ briefly (still have it somewhere) but found it quite disappointing, I guess I bought into the hype........ its an average player but a good vfm product.

Read up on the GR07 Bass Edition, does everything fairly well with good bass impact. It takes a while to find an iem/headphone that suits you, I stay clear of head-fi and try auditioning before I buy these days.

Hmm thinking of getting a small portable player for the ride to work and back. Current portable setup is a bit too much. Colorfly's C3 seems to be a nice option as well, will need to be using some relatively easy to drive iems though.

Do you know what the X3 will retail at in most online stores? Prices seem a bit high here in SG, preorder is 279 SGD and retail is 329 SGD. Battery life is a bit of a downer though. 10 to 15 hours as per Fiio's specs.....I'm guessing playing FLAC would bring that down a bit.
