@Ssreek That's a important point you mention there. 5% cashback without any restrictions on HDFC Millenia sounded too good to be true. Am I correct in understanding that for e.g if I buy a laptop worth 70K my cashback will be limited to 1000 rupees?

Thanks everyone. Managed to get a cheap and easy solution. Replaced my battery of existing UPS of 625 VA for 1200 rupees. Getting 6 mins plus backup right now. haven't tested the max duration of backup.

Yes, I was thinking about what you have mentioned above but inverter + battery will cost around 20k-22k at min. if I am not mistaken. Since I only have the minimum budget, choosing the UPS will be the only way I guess. Thanks.
