    Help : WC Loop

    Thanks. That's good to hear. I've narrowed it down to EKWB. I'll post a parts list soon. They ship to India via DHL for €45 which seems fair for a 3-work day delivery, although I'm not sure if DHL would handle the customs. Any other shipping options I can explore if I go with EK's parts? I did...

    Help : WC Loop

    Hey, thanks for taking out some time man. Res: Makes sense. Horizontal Res: Oh yes! Totally forgot about that. Vertical it is then. Would you (or anyone else here, infact) has any experience importing parts? I'm looking at EK-WB and Switftech. Any tips there?

    Help : WC Loop

    Hey guys, I'm finally ramping up some funds to beat the heat in the upcoming summer. And what's a better time to plan and keep things ready than the wonderful and lovely winters. Ohk, before I go explaning stuff, here's a diagram of what's going on this little box that's attached to me neck...

    BuildLog: Sandman

    I finally got around finalizing the build spec of my colleague's computer. It'll be a dual boot Windows (Gaming) + Hackintosh (Work) system. Hardware (current order) - ASUS Maximus VII Ranger - 4690K - Corsair H100i - HyperX 8x2GB 1866Mhz - Asus Strix GTX 970 - Corsair RM 750 - Samsung EVO...

    Thanks man! Appreciate it. Although, I know I can do better. So I'm waiting for a couple of bundles from MDPC ;) :D

    Sorry for incredibly late reply. Was away for work. I'm using Chimera for now. Plan to migrate to Clover EFI. I'm using the 1150 patch from Multibeast to get the audio working (Confirmed for Yosemite and Mavericks). PM me if you have any questions. Cheers.

    Build Log : The ++Shad0wKnight++

    Thanks guys. #Update 10 I've been waiting to make this update since #3 :cool: I finished sleeving the 24-pin cable on Sunday. Took me 4 hours from start to finish, and tidying up messy heat-shrinks. I also sleeved the custom (terrible looking) cables which are connected to the LED lights. In...

    Build Log : The ++Shad0wKnight++

    Update #9 So, as promised by Nils, I received the MD-PC sleeves in exactly 14 days. (German precision at work :fearscream::grin:). As promised, a custom Easter bunny sketch for me. :sunglasses: Also came with a spiffin' good set of stamps! (Not a collector or anything of those sorts, but...

    Review Asus GTX780 STRIX OC 6 GB Review

    Damn! It looks pretty neat, but I was hoping for an LC block on it, or even a hybrid, as we have seen before.

    They told him to be extra-careful the next time, or not even OC it. [emoji13] I don't remember seeing any burn marks, but I do remember some bent pins. Also, the chip had become extremely hot. He's considering a wider case, so he can hook in that massive NZXT cooler.

    Update #8 A little box of happiness just arrived. First of the 3 international shipments. Pretty solid packaging. Expected nothing less from Amazon. Everything is intact. No dents on the boxes. Please bear with me as I just realized that my camera's battery is out. While that charges up...

    You're right. And for a non-K CPU, it didnt make much sense to go overboard with it. Might as well save that money for when I do.

    Build Log : The ++Shad0wKnight++

    You could probably open a thread on Corsair's forums. But TBH, I'm hoping to trace the USB commands it sends and receives, such that I can write a simple API for Link and then write two apps: one for Windows and another for OS X. Perhaps this weekend. So an update on the 4690K end: my friend...

    Build Log : The ++Shad0wKnight++

    A simple firmware upgrade fixed it for me. :) Regarding the noise, it's pretty darn silent inside the 750D even on boot. Regarding the software, I agree. But come on! How many times do you use it in a day? Me: only used it to change the color of the pump head. :P When broadwell chips release...

    Build Log : The ++Shad0wKnight++

    WHUT! :P Indeed! A switch is in the plans, before I finalize the build. However, I'm having a hard time finding a good stealthy one (or even something I can paint black) which would fit well at the back of the case. The case has two holes for a custom WC loop, one of which I can use, to hold...

    Once I'm done with mine, you can check 'em out and send me yours if you're interested. I'll charge a fee though apart from shipping it back [emoji6][emoji13]

    CPU/Mobo [SOLVED] Haswell Refresh or Broadwell
