well mine has managed to reduce to just 10 mins in just 1 year. I have bought 3 UPS in last 10 years and experience has been horrible with all of them. Though this one gives me enough time to wait 5 mins to see if power comes back and turn off my pc properly if not which is helpful at least...

Is that APC 1100 VA UPS? How much battery backup do you get? It used to give me about 30mins battery backup when not gaming but these days starts beeping in just 5mins I never had much luck with any UPS I bought so far :(
