I think they should release it in India by September at the latest. If we're lucky, maybe it'll even come in the August rollout

Android vs Symbian vs iPhone Gaming Compared

iphone is far ahead of symbian and Android when it comes to gaming. While the others may have hardware that is capable of besting the iphone, you will never find the same range and quality of titles that is available on the iphone platform

    Nokia N900 launched in India

Seems to be a case of Nokia selling off leftover stock in India. Face it, the n900 has no future upgrade path as Nokia is putting its weight behind Meego. Me, I'm waiting for a slightly larger tablet to replace my n800 (still going great after 2.5 years). The extra screen size (4.3") makes such...

Laptops Laptop Adapter damaged... What to do?

These are times when an extended warranty starts to make sense. My laptop's adapter stopped working after 18 months and I ended up paying over 3000 rupees for a replacement (HP Original)

    Android outselling iPhone

Very untrue, Nokia's market share has been fairly constant in the last year and in fact has gone up. In fact if you look at the sales numbers here, you'll notice that the increase in the number of nokia smartphones (7.8 million) is almost equal to the number of iphones sold. That's a point that...

Storage Solutions Six Myths About Backing Up Your Computer

Many professionals live by the maxim, it doesn't exist unless it is available in atleast 3 different copies and in 3 different types of media. That's probably too hard-core for the average home user. My backup requirements are pretty average, mainly involving backing up my pictures, video files...

Nexus One Owners Thread (dont we need one?)

I sold my Nexus One a while back, my impressions - Sound from built in speakers is bad, but that is not due to the volume, but rather the location of the speakers. Once you get your headphones on, it is more than adequate - Used mVideoPlayer for video playback. Supports srt for subtitles...

Nokia N8 goes official with 12MP camera and HD video

I doubt the processor speed matters that much, after all the iphone/omnia hd and milestone also have 600 mhz processors. The bigger question I have is whether it is an A8 processor or the older ARM design?

    Laptops New laptop Battery

The official battery costs upwards of 6000 rupees (depending on the model type). You can get unofficial batteries for 4000 though, their suitability and warranty are suspect.

laptop vs desktop - please advice !

I agree with phoenix844884. A few years back, the equation between desktops and laptops was so one-sided that no one would consider a laptop for performance. But, I think a point was reached around 4-5 years back, when laptop performance became more than acceptable for most mainstream users...

Mobile Operators charging for customer service calls!!!

Imagine my surprise when I called the Vodafone customer service number (111) today. They informed me that I will be charged 50 ps for 3 minutes. When I gave the CSR grief about it, she conveniently said that this is a TRAI order and applicable to every operator. Is this true?

    Google Nexus One

I want to sell my Nexus One phone. It is just over a month old. Reason for sale: I had originally planned to use it as my all-in-one device, but was never satisfied with it as a phone, cannot get used to the touch screen and need a physical keypad. So, I have retained my n82 as my primary phone...

Yes, same here, they have discovered the issue and fixed it sometime yesterday. Now, it reduces your balance. My thought is that if you intend to use it quite a bit, it may be cheaper to get a data recharge voucher, which at the lowest level, gives you 500 MB for 249 rupees...

BSNL 3G in Bangalore : The 242nd city in India to get 3G!!

Same here, I think when they had to set up the system, they were supposed to enter the values in kilobytes, but they thought that it was in bytes. That's why we got an allowance of 25 GB.:hap2:
