I'm planning of getting Core i5 750.

Has that not been reported with any board other than AsRock? I had thought of MSI P55 GD65 due to the lovely features it offers at that price. But came to know that the board doesn't work with few PSUs. Is there any other board which supports Crossfire + SLI at x8, x8 within 10k?

Why? What happens if glacial power is used in a gaming rig? Why pay 5k more for i7 860 when i5 750 can perform at almost 85-90% in encoding? It's better to get a 5850 with i5 750 for just 1k more.

I'll play gta 4 for at least 3 times like i've done with previous gta games. Along with that i want to play other games also like prototype. But gta 4 is most important for me.

Isn't a 250 sufficient for 1280x1024? Also, a benchmark on pcgameshardware.com shows the gts 250 beating 4870 in gta 4 @ 1280x1024.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I've heard that GTA IV requires more than 512 MB of video memory for some high details. 4870 1Gb is out of my budget. So, will get a Zotac GTS 250 1GB card @ 8.1k.

Hi. I installed a 667 mhz ram and is working but i've lost the audio on my system. No audio at all. I'm using windows xp. I reinstalled the audio drivers. But, in the device manager, it is showing "device is not functioning properly." Please help at the earliest.
