Anybody ever given their PS3 Slim at the Sony service center? Whats the turnover time like? Also do they, just return the same unit back or do they actually replace it? I mean if the games are randomly freezing after a while, do they extensively test the console? or do they carelessly return...

You just need to have any PS3 disc inside the drive, THATS IT! I am using a Move Starter Demo disc, for playing all/any games. And sometimes the GOW3 disc, when it is with me, i.e.

First... Why are you trying to flash SPECIFIC i9000 ROM's? There are tons of them out there for the captivate itself. And TWO, Try the ICS RC2 build (Demonwav one, by OneCosmic) Super stable. have been using it for the past 1 month.
