don't worry about bass, d2k is all about bass, quantity and quality both, but think for trable and high because for you it may me little harsh as you told me that you don't like sharp trable now you can see Reactive impression also

what about d2k/5k vs hd600/650 i also think that a good amp is need for hd600/650 to shine
