But the switching is not perfect. First off, there is Autoaim option enabled by default. I don't know if this option turns on by default even without the controller. And the next, as I said before.. the rumble. Although it can be switched off, I don't know why controller is receiving forcefeed...

Re: Dragon Age II I think, If we select DX11, it will switch to the last available DX option. DX10 or 10.1. There isn't an option for DX10, but if we choose DX11, the cards with DX10,10.1 support will get DX10/10.1 I had a similar experience with Civilization V.
