Go for samsung 3 series but starting with NP300 series..it has a matte screen...the above one has a glossy screen..

Although I dont own either of them, I have seen Dell xps in croma and it has an awesome screen..I would have gone for Dell for the FHD screen and JBL speakers alone..

I have been using KIS for the past 4 years..I have not faced a single problem and do not want to experiment much with other suites...

Dell has a matte screen,3 usb 3.0 ports,ok keyboard and ok speakers. With extended warranty you will have peace of mind for the next 3 years..So even though you are paying 8k extra..it is well worth it..as I said the deal you are getting for Dell is excellent.. Asus build quality is comparable...

Go for Dell...and see if you can extend the warranty by paying extra..its a wonderful deal..

@OP I think all HDDs have not been affected due to floods in Thailand. theitdepot site below has some 1tb hdds for sale at ~3k Hitachi HDDs
