I think asking for 50 off 55 or 100 off 105 coupons is like asking for money. Why would anyone give it away, when he can get stuff at 5/10 rs? Asking for 10 - 15% off is OK, but I don't think this 500 or 100rs off coupons request will do any good.

Yes. I always order on Mumbai address. Pune PMC is very greedy, and puts octroi on most electronic stuff. I even had to pay octroi on a Jacket! Pendrives, books are spared. Most of the times it is a luck thing, getting caught by the toll.

Money is refunded to buyer, even though it has been marked as received. Ebay just washes its hands off the matter, and now the seller must contact the buyer and plead to send the money by other way.

Damn, I used a Vodafone coupon for that purchase. I would have gotten a regular 3 yr warranty 1tb hdd for a 300-400 less, rather than wasting time on the auction :( let's see what the seller says.

I bought a Samsung 1TB HDD with 5 years warranty from ebay (won in auction), but when I got it, I found out the warranty is only 3 years, that too from 13 June, so 3 months already lapsed. What should I do? Should I fight and raise complaint with ebay or just forget the matter?

Any idea why the warranty is 3 years and not 5 years. I have noticed that since this Vodafone offer, most of the HDDs with 5 year warranties, both seagate and WD, are either overpriced or disappeared.
