You can get Belkin 6ft HDMI cable for arounf 600 on ebay. Apply some coupons, and it could be cheaper. They are gold plated, and I found them to be VFM.

Got my G2420HD today through Aramex. Nicely packaged (bubble wrapped). Reg. monitor, no customization requires. VGA and DVI cables came as accesories. Enjoying computing with a 24 incher.
