It'll get charged like any other cellphone. Maps , yes if it has GPS. The Ubislate has a GSM radio i believe so you should be able to put in a SIM else there is WiFi of course. Just remember that you get what you pay for. This is especially true for Android devices.

^^ Having played with the 2.0 update at Blackberry Dev Con , i'd say it is a solid one. The tablet really is great but the relative lack of apps kills it for the casual user. For someone like me who is in the browser for 95% of my usage. It's just fine. QNX is a bloody brilliant OS btw.

OS 2.0 beta allows for Android apps playback. You have to covert the apk to bar files though.. Both ways , not all apps will run. This won't change ever so just remember that. On a side note , i managed to get a 16GB model but want a 32. Would someone be willing to trade ? I'll give you...
