Ok... i have its younger brother with me and will have this one in 1st week Jan. Takeaway's from a quick hands on. Great build quality , passable cam , Tegra 2 games work really well. The custom launcher looks a bit tacky but performs well , certainly better than TouchWiz ever did :P Screen...

^^ That is false. Samsung is working on ICS for the Note , SGS2 on a priority basis. ICS adds native support for stylus input so i'd expect SW support to actually improve.

Really depends on your usage.. i play FIFA , Tekken and co-op all the time with my brother so it was an essential purchase for me.

In before this becomes an Android vs WP7 argument ! Both operating systems have their pros n cons. There is no "better" phone , it all depends on your use case. Though just keep in mind how massive the Note is :)

I'll have this phone in a day or two.. will post impressions for all those interested. 15k is a pretty good price for those specs i'd say.

Its not a case of who knows, it is known that Samsung will showcase the S3 at MWC 12. Not super excited about it though coz its predictable. Increase the RAM , increase the screen size < 720p this time > , double the cores and there you go :) Now things will get interesting if sammy dumps...

Yea.. thats true. But overall , neat work by MS. Metro is gorgeous and works so well.

^^ My biggest beef with WP7 so far is that it seems to output network static as well while streaming music online. Major issue over headphones. A dedicated notifications hub won't hurt of course.. Not had any major problems though.

Yea.. i can't really recommend the 710 tbh , looks pretty average for the price. Infact check out my review of the Radar.. thats a great handset in the price range. HTC Radar Review Its Lumia 800 all the way for me though.

All i've heard is that the camera ain't too good. In my usage i didn't have an opportunity to use the cam so can't comment. Rest its a decent phone.. predictably WVGA stretched over 4.7" is not the ideal solution. Coming from the S2 you'll probably miss the AMOLED display as well. Lumia is 30k...

^^ You don't even need the Chevron unlock for Mass Storage , you just need to change a registry value in windows to enable it.
