Splicing together different ethernet cables to create a longer one

Yeah, I checked that out on Amazon as well. I'm planning on trying out this as a project to satisfy my unproductive days, since I've got a WiFi 6 module doing my main grunt work. Unreliable connection as in instability and higher latency?

Splicing together different ethernet cables to create a longer one

(Disclaimer: I'm a noob at networking, so if anything I wrote here makes you face palm, I apologize. I'd appreciate a correction) I've got a bunch of individual 1m ethernet cables lying around, and after discovering the art of splicing and crimping, I decided to make my own ethernet cable. I'm...

All OS Best Smartphone to replace iPhone

Why though? The 13 Pro Max is still a great phone hardware wise, and sure, software could be a major cause to shift. If you're willing to spend above 1L, then the S23 Ultra is a great choice. Pixel 7 Pro isnt worth it IMO, since the Pixel 7 gets the job done with a slightly downgraded camera...

    31-40k Laptop for daily use

41-50k New generation processors make sense?

That motherboard is a little overkill for your needs. You can consider even a cheap B450, which will run the 5600G just fine. Consider this- https://pcpricetracker.in/out/542f4ad5cf0d46f34fcf4a34b00a0aed/1 This one doesnt have extra RAM slots or SSD slots for further expansion, but is 3k cheaper...

25-30k Phone for Day to Day use

Edge 30, easy pick. For an extra 6k, I dont see anything setting the S20 FE apart from the Edge 30, except for cameras. Battery life will be roughly the same for both phones, and SD 778G on Edge 30 is on par with SD 865.

    90K+ Build for Content Creation | 4K-8K | Graphics etc - upto 1.7L

Just want to throw out here that 4 sticks of DDR5 will definitely keep you busy for a while, since DDR5 being relatively new have stability issues when all DIMM slots are occupied. Have all 4 of them running at 6000 speeds is very unlikely, but you could get it eventually with some tuning. Also...

    90K+ PC for Rendering (Lumion/VRay etc.) 1.5L excluding GPU/PSU

Check your GPU and CPU temperatures via HWInfo, and run a short stress test like cinebench R23 (for CPU) and Furmark(for GPU). If temps are within acceptable range (below 85C), there wont be any need.

    Want to upgrade my PC

12600K is overpriced, it should be around 18-20k to consider, since chips like the 13400 and the 13500 offer similar performance for much lesser. For mobo, entry level B660/B760s don't have the best NVMe slot numbers, so Z690 is the way. https://www.pcshop.in/product/msi-pro-z690-p-ddr4/ This...

    90K+ PC for Rendering (Lumion/VRay etc.) 1.5L excluding GPU/PSU

Looks great, congrats. Some of the prices are a little over the top, like the monitor and the cooler. A new RTX 4070 Ti would have cost around 80k, as is a big uplift over the 3080 Ti, but the 3080 Ti is still a beast of a GPU. Btw, I think your case only comes with only 2 pre installed fans...

    Want to upgrade my PC

Unfortunately, that's the norm of pricing for motherboards today. From AM4, there's the MSI B550 PRO VDH for 10.5k. The CPU close to the 13400 in terms of performance is the Ryzen 7 5700X, which costs 21k think. It does not come with a cooler as well, so theres that to add in the costs.

    Want to upgrade my PC

12600K and 13400 are roughly the same in terms of performance, while the 13500 is better than the 12600K, and is only slightly behind the (~5-10%) 13600K. SSD prices plummeted over the last couple of years, maybe because flash memory has become very cheap to manufacture. NVMe SSDs also replaced...

It has ARGB fans, so it can be connected to the 5v ARGB port on the motherboard.

I'm curious, how much did it cost when you bought it?

0-20k Need budget case/fans advice without rgb

If the fans are ARGB, you can simply turn RGB off in the software. Or disconnect the RGB cables. Deepcool CC560 or Ant Esports 220 Air, both are good cases

    Monitors Need budget monitor 20-22"

1440P monitors are mostly above 20k, so yeah, you could lean towards for FHD. There's an LG 29 inch ultra wide for 15k, great for productivity. 27 inch FHD monitors cost about 12k.

    Want to upgrade my PC

Since you already have 16GB memory, a 1TB SSD would be a better investment. You can put an NVMe drive in an x1 slot using an adapter, but that's pointless, since your bandwidth is cut to 0.5 Gbps, which is the same as the sequential speeds as SATA drives. If you're about to upgrade your...

    20-25K Time to upgrade

S20 FE is over 2 years old now, and while it still runs strong, it's last update will be Android 13. Realme has great cams and is the better version of ColorOS, but it still might be subjective to people who prefer to avoid the hassle of bloatware Consider Moto Edge 30 or POCO X5 Pro. Both are...

    Monitors Need budget monitor 20-22"

Gigabyte G27Q. Its 144hz, and Im not too sure how refresh rates work on mac, but you get great colour coverage for 24k

    71-90K What to buy used?

In the long run yes. Now, theres hardly any value in AM5 to justify the price gap. You'll have to pay nearly 18k over the AM4 platform. So take your call.
