i don't get it.... he games at 1024*768...but its better to future proof...isn't? since he may change the monitor cauyse 1024*768 too less screen estate. getting a 2400 seems a bit stupid to me at that budget when in the amd setup overall platform performs much better with much more with more...

umm...try windows device manager>disk management...you may have to "enable" it(don't remember the exact term.)

maybe its time to let it go? happens with old hdd's which dies all of a sudden...

erm..... extreme cooling stuffs? like dice/ln2 pots and stuff..although u wont find too many customers...but i know many people who would love to go in those stuff...but the problems of importing keeps them away.....
