Even my iphone 3g has survived ard 6-7 drops.Breaking/damage to a phone has nothin to do with no of drops.Whether it breaks or not purely depends on luck, way it falls,etc,etc.A phone may drop several times and still get only minor stretches but a phone of simlar build quality may not survive...
