i have faced same issue with my vostro v130 , i just ran the boot up diagnostics and found HDD error . Simply buy a usb to sata 2.5" external casing and backup your entire data. Don't forget to check the HDD with HDtune for exact error. Attrish

If its a hardware issue then you need to replace the lcd.......and i must tell you, a cheap lcd for iphone 3g costs for about 500 to 900 ...... i guess for an ipod it should be close....( i've replaced my phone's lcd and touch screen twice and its pretty good deal for 500 bucks..... people asks...

first sync the ipod with itunes n backit up .....if u can afford to loose data then straight go ahead with full restore ......in case of no improvements do a firmware upgrade .....................in direct sunlight in outdoors u should be able see the menu easily .......u can factory reset it...

Hi Julian, There should be no difference as long as u r using the supplied copper pipe/tube, I.e 1.5 m in most cases. Furthermore there's a trade off for increased distance with less cooling . Attrish
