Any pendrive should work. Though make sure it is 8GB and not a 4GB one. I too use a Sandisk Crizer. They are well built pieces unlike some of the stuff out there.

Go for the Asus. (128GB SSD, 16GB RAM and the IPS display is definitely worth it.)

Regarding the Asus model, the seller mentioned a week or two. So I suggest waiting. And with a FHD screen and good power, chances are less that you'll come across a model with good battery backup. Is it an important criteria?
