I have to go with what Floccy said. T2 is one of the best action movies ever made and there really was no way that T3 could've topped that even if it was good which it wasn't.

This is an entirely different direction in taking games as the Wii actually requires more physical involment than usual. This idea though has been in work since forever and I don't expect any gaming giant giving it a try any time soon.

Personally, I thought the X360's hardware upgrades announcements won MS this E3. Some of them include the return of HDD installs and runs and 16:10 support for x360 gamers with Widescreen monitors(1440X900 and 1680X1050). Every gaming related news or media or whatever is about generating hype.

It's the sense of a brand dying out. The whole sinking ship syndrome. Of course, there's no reason to fear for the reasons you mentioned. Exclusives is what kills other consoles. More multi-platform titles will help each console to hang in there, just the competitive edge is lost and it'll...
