Great!. I am glad to know that the Samsung is able to drive the polks to your satisfaction. BTW I often hear people mention that the polks are bright. I did not find them when I auditioned some time back but may be they were burnt-in. Do you find them bright when new?.

The price is good. Here in hyderabad, profx quoted MRP as 21k and were willing to come down to 18.5 and not beyond that. You need to move to a better stereo amp or equivalent. IMO your Samsung HT receiver will not be able to bring the best out of these Polks.

Which phone do you have?. It does not work with my Samsung and read somewhere that it does not work with LG as well. AFAIK it will be safe to say that it works only with iphone.

I would strongly recommend ASUS RT N16. I have one and using it exactly for the kind of requirements you are looking for. I am using it with Tomota USB mod. I bought it for 7.7k though. It does not have built in HDD but has 2 USB ports and you can attach USB hub and expand the USB ports.
