i got hold my XFX 8600GT Fatal1ty for 8700 bucks..i have yet to assemble my rig so i cant comment bout its perfomance..for a hard bargain u could get it for a lesser price.. another option is to get 8600GT and oc it along with adding of 1 fan..maybe that could save u a few bucks..

How much difference does a DVI enabled LCD monitor make over analog displays...?? Is it that substantial to go for it and shell out 3-4k extra ?

i checked out a bit..740nw has DVI; 740n does`nt have DVI..damn..

ppl, Could u suggest me a 17" LCD monitor (no wide-screen) for my new comp.. I have bought XFX 8600GT Fatal1ty which has DVI ports..So which monitor will be compatible wid that gfx card ?

hdcp does`nt make any difference..so big deal bout it.. XFX is supposed to retail at around 8k..ur dealer is quoting a high price.. i`m getting XFX 8600GT Fatal1ty for 8700 bucks in a few days..

Checked it out on the net and it does not have any heat fans..its got heat-pipes with fins !! :cool: XFX 8600GT FATAL1TY is factory overclocked, silent GPU,256MB DDR3 with a 620MHz clock speed..

@arrow055 u are correct..we need a new reciever which is the HD Reciever to view those HD channels..hi-def channels wont be shown on normal packages..for viewing HD channels u will need an HD reciever as well as u`ll be subscribing hd package which will have hd channels.. @rshri do u mean India...

TATA(Sky don't provide those foreign FTA channels in their package other than BBC Entertainment..

i`ll be getting the card on 25th ... will let u know..
