Anyone here bought PTM7950? Would like to know the best place to get it.

Ordered 80x80 mm2 ($19) from ebuy7 (kinda sketchy, but recommended apparently). Planning to use it with my 13700k (temp differential between CPU temp and coolant temp rather high).

    Which Mirrorless Camera?

Is there any particular reason you're thinking of moving to mirrorless? Modern mirrorless cameras are technically better in terms of sensor and hardware, but it won't be a drastic change unless you're shooting in challenging lighting. Primary reason I moved up from my Sony A6000 to my A7iv was...

    HSGQ/ ODI SFP GPON STICK

-23dbm is more than fine. Local fiber operators typically target -25dbm (which is a lower power level compared to -23) and I get 900d/800u+ mbps in BLR with that.

Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite - looks like the Windows world’s answer to Apple Silicon

Excited about running linux on these laptops, and IMO mainstream linux distros are more ready for arm64 integration (due to raspi and other SBCs). My asus vivobook 14 oled gets far more battery life running ubuntu, compared to windows. The whole system power draw is ~4w, when reading a pdf with...

Teardown & Rebuild of a MuscleGrid LiFePO4 Server Rack Battery

3500 inr for 2kva Emerson MT ups? Used? Even if used, 3.5k is very, very cheap.

    HSGQ/ ODI SFP GPON STICK

Attenuators, by definition, can't increase power. You'll need an active(powered) device to amplify (increase power) of a signal. There's probably a weak connection somewhere in the chain from ISP to the PON to cause a change of 11dBm.

Friend has the 65" version of m650, bought at launch with introductory offer of fire tv 4k max. Decent panel, probably comparable to lg/samsung of ~80k 55" tvs. Included os is absolutely useless. At 45k, less card discounts, I'd go for it if you're looking for a TV at this budget. Installation...

    DIY: Small Solar setup recommendation

Man, I don't want to disappoint you, but there's a lot of "best case" assumptions in this. In India, you'll likely get ~4.5x WHr energy output daily from a x W panel, depending on your location (I chose Madhya Pradesh)(this figure is from 2 different solar calculators i tried). That cuts down...

    SSD and RAM

Says Serial ATA (SATA) on the drive itself (beside the screw mount). M.2 keying is kinda complex, those notches are called "keys" and depending on the position of the notch (and pins) can identify and perform different tasks. Normal nvme drives are "M" keyed (not to be confused with the M of...

    Is this a fake ram

Yes, it "trained" the memory, or rather, calculated appropriate timings that are not part of the profile. Because that's what a "2400" ram runs at, 2400 mt/s = 1200 mhz, blame the manufacturers/software for the discrepancy, but it is indeed running at 2400 mt/s. Here's an article that explains...

    Is this a fake ram

    a. 8gb on windows is rather low (!!) these days, the OS itself uses a fair bit of memory (worse on w11). You're using more than 70% memory, likely already using pagefile (or swap, or storage as memory) b. 1200MHz is normal, DDR is double data rate, what manufactures claim as X MHz, is typically...

Duracell vs Envie vs Eneloops Rechargeable AAA batteries for mice/keyboards

Does IKEA deliver to your location? If so, their ladda batteries are the best I've tried, with low self discharge (apparently made in the same japanese eneloop factory) and capacity claims that they meet (look them up on the net). A 4 pack...

    Intel 13/14th Gen CPU Issue?

I use a 13700k with PL1/PL2 limited to 200w. Haven't notice any instabilities so far, been rock solid since build. Limiting the power probably helps with degradation.

Mac OS Upgrading an old Mac

That's not due to the lack of x64 support by the CPU, but rather apple using 32bit efi bootloader. C2D is very much a 64bit capable cpu, I ran one for years on windows/linux flavors. The apple 32bit limitation can be circumvented by using a 3rd party bootloader, like rEFInd with EFI stub boot...
