stock intel heatsink is fantastic for 8600gt it fits nicely, u just have 2 make proper clips and use proper nutbolts ....u,ll see immediate 15-20 *c temp drop @load!! i'm using the one that came with my E2160!! 45 I - 66 L !! with TOOTHPASTE as TIM!!!:rofl:

well now catch is do u have any active device that is cosntantly on...like bluetooth adapter or smthing..coz i once tried to standby system from startmenu->turn of comp -> standby ...... and i got similar msg.... ..... chk if ur getting sm msg on manual standby..........
