U need to install .Net again....... or just update frm Windows Update...... I use to get tht msg all the time....... very frustrating...... but I installed all patches for Windows and also updated Kies..... now there is no problem...... I am on Win 7 Ultimate x64.......

If anyone is getting "Additional 16MB free space required to upgrade" message while updating the fone to latest FW 1.0.2 JIK1, then just clear Cache, cookies and other browsing info frm Internet Setting.

u must hav some AV or firewall blocking the update pg......... It happened to me as well..... had kaspersky.... paused it and update went smoothly

All I could find was top task bar is now visible even on the lock screen....... other than tht the alarm icon seem to be chnged.... Also there is new Software Update menu in settings.... Why doesnt Samsung give a log with every FW??

everything u mentioned works....... even mass storage...... Kies works perfectly on Win7 x64... everything is gr8 abt this phone except its gone out of stock.....

just update Windows using Windows Update...... update everything except WGA.......... update the recommended as well. It works on Win XP SP3 x86 updated to Nov 2010

So wht the update ver?? 1.2?? Also wht r the bugs other than u mentioned....... is the 5.1 not working while headsets r On???

yeah tht u cant do...... u can only install thru Kies since it registers the game/sw for ur device which then can only be used for ur device and not any Wave, even if u hav the full game/sw file in ur download folder.

Starcraft 2, though not released in India can be bought as a digital download online. Specially the SEA ver. Can play on both SEA and US servers..

GPS Navigation has 30 day limit....... not GPS location nd maps........ so u'll get to c ur loc on maps even after the expiry of 30 days..... Google maps app is not available for Bada OS......... so no chance of trying tht on Wave........ Nokia handsets like 5800XM hav Ovi Maps & Navigation...

U dont need gprs to use GPS...... once u download the India maps(245MB) on to ur mmc via route66 sync, u wont need net........ also when u start the GPS, giv it 5mins to get sat conn........ make sure ur outdoors......

All can be done at Settings >> Memory >> Default Memory

It seems update to JF2 came for only JE7 phones.....
