I removed the fan without removing the external covering....... cleaned it...... man handled it a bit.... and screwed it back....... Increased gpu fan speed to 50-60-70-75% increments thru CC...... Fan went upto 3300rpm without any problem or noise.... didnt push it more........ left it at...

There is ADSL2 inbetwn them........ I tried it..... gives "Max Attainable Rate" of 12Mbps..... connects at 2048kbps as usual..... but also caps DL speed at 140KBps........ ping also increases by 20ms...... I was of the opinion tht its just a protocol...... u know.... like say in Wifi...

My Downstream SNR of 39dB isnt good??...... I think its gr888...... Last I knew u hardly need 15dB to hav stable connection......... Also I was using ADSL2+ modulation for the last 4yrs on Linksys WAG54G2..... No disconnects....... I dont think line is the problem..... especially when the W8970...
