^It's not only about being cheap, the models mention above in my post are unmatched in their PQ.

Re: HDTV buying advice thread Yup, the IPS panels have been considerably improved over the years, but they still fall short of the VA panels. Also, I prefer to use a HD media player, than using a TV for the same. It has much better compatibility with the various formats.

Re: Post screenshots of Ratio Proof - Get an Invite (NO Trades!) I do that normally(been using IPT since the last 3 years). But I heard, the number of content in HD at bit-hdtv is way more than ipt. There are a LOT of TV shows which are not available in HD neither at TL nor at IPT.
