Just pop a different sim into the modem, like airtel or vodophone that you have and see if you can use that (it should work with 2G also ) ? .Then your 3g sim should be problem or it is not activated yet ?

Is there any way to check the bandwidth remaining on 3G card ? .Like sending *123# from computer ? I am at the moment testing ( I have a taken limited bandwidth recharge ) .Any other way apart from removing it from modem and putting into a phone to check the balance?

I can see Airtel here in bore .when tried to connect says if sim is not supported .guess we need to new 3g sims for Airtel.

The signal strength is important .Check it in diagnostics . If the tower is near you are lucky , otherwise it will not be up to full speed . You can check where is the tower using an android app. Any recommended antennas for E122 ? .I am interested if some one can GO .
