i think 3g in newly launched in ur area. because i too use to get gud speeds with 3g(on 2g sim) when it was newly launched in my area. but after 3months it was back to 25-30.:)

when using 3g with 2g sims, what are the speeds u get? Do they cross 60 kBps?

i had successfully istalled it on 5800 but not in 5230. tried, but dont know what went wrong, it didnt work.

a simple dual core computer( athlon II x2) and with 1 gb of ram and some easy on pocket graphic card(9400gt, 3650, or even 8400gt) which has tv out or s-video out port, can be connected with tv. And for hd lcd tv there is vga but hdmi is recomended. and there is wd tv hd media player, cheaper...

yes it is, but again it depends on requirements, if wifi is top priority then of-course samsung star wifi, othervise 5230.

^^yes. gps comes handy when we r in different states or in unknown places, atleast u get the idea where u r heading.

i would suggest samsung galaxy spica(i5700) in place of 5800. and if u wanna save some cash then 5230( if u can find one )
