hey dont you have any cd provided with the player? All flash mem devices loose space after formatting. You need to use tools provided by the manufature on the cd to get back the lost memory.

There is an update, use the update tool provided on your mobo drivers cd.

try refitting the heat sink. I and many others had the same problem. I used to get 70 deg. After I refitted it it came down to about 36 deg. You need to apply pressure while fitting it.
