    You can try removing the plastic shroud and can attach a fan to it(using cable ties or other gettho method). Here is pic of what I have done with my 8800GTX: This method helps to lower GPU temps by approx. 5C(in my case).

    CPU/Mobo Extract Gold and Silver from Processors
