thanks sangram. have heard some good feedback from other users of my soundcard (prodigy 7.1 HiFi) who have experimented with different combinations of opamps. hence thinking of trying out these LT ones.

^^ 2nd that! the gameplay is great, but the graphics is really bugging the hell out of me. so much so that i'm tempted to go buy the X360 version (which according to most ppl looks better than the PS3 version) and play it on my x360 instead :(

the DX should suffice for your gaming needs. it will also provide a digital out to your onkyo to handle all the surround sound decoding :)

sounds like either the Z2300 or Klipsch GMX would fit your requirements

take your time to burn them in.. my pair of A5s took a good 50-60hrs of listening before i'm comfortable with the sound.. another pair of my Usher S520 bookshelves did a good 100hrs before.. now they sound amazing, even when paired with a Nuforce Icon portable amp i recently bought.. ot...

if the card is mainly for a gaming rig, save yourself some money and go for the Asus Xonar DX. i've got one on the way thru KMD ;) also, when it comes to connecting to amp/HT setup, you shouldn't have to worry about the soundcard if you're planning to connect using digital output to your HT...

congrats.. touch cruise is a great PDA phone.. was considering it or the samsung i780.. in the end, went with the i780 because i needed the qwerty keypad.. do a lot of emails on the move..

for stereo music listening, i think it's pretty good.. one comment on the microphone though when using in handsfree mode.. doesnt seem very sensitive and have to speak pretty loud for your voice to be picked up..
