Bluetooth Stereo Headsets For iPhone 4.

I would not recommend using Bluetooth for music on the iPhone. The audio quality is terrible and it constantly breaks up and cuts off. You'll probably regret the purchase. Stick to wired IEMs on the iPhone 4.

PC Peripherals [Advice needed] WTB 22" Screen to connect to my laptop

Anything is good. It'll be like working on a PC, so choose a monitor like you would choose a PC monitor. However if the PC is very old and you connect a high resolution monitor you will notice mouse lag even on the desktop and the browser will lag while scrolling on pages with lots of images...

    iPhone 4 vs. Galaxy SII

The iPhone 5 will become like the PS3 with no practically usable exploits. Without the ability to reflash any firmware you want, you're screwed. If there is no bootrom exploit, you're screwed since you cannot restore older firmware even with saved SHSH blobs. This is what drove me away from the...

    iPhone 4 vs. Galaxy SII

I just got the FiiO E11 and it's greatly improved the SQ on the SGS2. The very low frequencies that were completely missing before are now restored and my music collection sounds familiar again. The SGS2 does indeed have a different frequency response depending on the impedance attached to it...

    iPhone 4 vs. Galaxy SII

It is NOT a colour depth problem. The banding is present everywhere, but they are much worse in the gallery due to 16-bit colour. The textured patches are physically present on the screen.

SGS II may support only 16-bit colour? Heavy banding observed!

After a few weeks of use, I've gotten used to the screen. I don't realise how BAD it is until I pick up the iPhone 4 and look at it.

    iPhone 4 vs. Galaxy SII

I don't have any yellow tint. I was expecting it but was relieved to get a non-tinted screen. Look at some light coloured images, and slowly scroll them around. You will see small patches that are stationary while the image is moving underneath (they are NOT dust particles). I bought my phone...

    iPhone 4 vs. Galaxy SII

The SGS2 screen only looks stunning from a distance because the black level makes the icons appear like magic on the surface of the phone. When holding it up close like I normally do, it falls very short of the quality of the retina display. Pixels are WAY to big and there is insane colour...

    iPhone 4 vs. Galaxy SII

I have both. The screen on the SGS2 is GARBAGE. It's horribly pixellated, has awful colour banding and everything is oversaturated. The first thing you'll notice when picking up the SGS2 after using an iPhone 4 is what a pile of shit the screen is. After using it for a week you'll get used to...

SGS II may support only 16-bit colour? Heavy banding observed!

Because it looks like magic when it lights up from pure black. Theres horrible colour banding EVERYWHERE. It looks like Windows running in low colour depth without graphics drivers. The resolution is too low for the screen size. There are pixels and jaggies everywhere. But it's MUCH better than...

SGS II may support only 16-bit colour? Heavy banding observed!

I just bought a SGS2 and the display clarity and dithering is utter SHIT compared to the iPhone 4. Aside from that the phone seems good. Don't judge it by that photo in the first post. It's MUCH worse. Simple UI graphics look like highly compressed JPG files.

Is Ready boost an option for extra RAM?

Such a system would by so unusable and slow it's irrelevant.

Graphic Cards 580 gtx vs 560 gtx sli

Never buy CF/SLi unless you have the money to waste or are running high resolution like 2560x1600. The benefit is extremely short lived. As games get more demanding over the months, performance will drop drastically compared to a powerful single GPU. When the next single GPU arrives for half the...

Graphic Cards Consumer GPU for AutoCad

Any Quadro GPU will demolish a GeForce in applications like AutoCAD because they run in windowed mode with multiple menus and stuff rendered on top of the view ports. GeForce only performs in fullscreen applications like games. There are a lot of artificial limitations on the GeForce that make...

    Help on LED Monitor

Monitors have vastly superior image quality than TVs that cost 5 times as much. Low quality TV channels will look extremely horrible. Even 1080i HD channels will suck. Just get a TV.

The Asus Maximus IV Extreme Review Part 1

I was considering this board, but there is no way I'm paying 22k for a low-end chipset that's also available in a 3.5k board. It's a slap in the face from Asus. Any board that costs more than 15k needs to have a chipset with bragging rights like the X58. I'll wait until they release such a...
